Ollie's Ride for Change:
A Family Bike Event to Remember
June 7, 2025

Join Ollie’s Bike Parade on June 7, 2025, at Colorado State University for the annual Ollie’s Ride for Change, a day dedicated to distracted driving awareness and cyclist safety, especially for our children. Sponsored by Colorado State University, this event promises a fun-filled day for families while championing a crucial cause.

This year’s event features a Pokémon-themed Children’s Bike Parade! Kids can pick up FREE decoration kits and transform their bikes into their favorite Pokémon designs. Costumes, creativity and the love of cycling is deeply encouraged! But that’s not all! Enjoy a Bike Expo showcasing a love for the cycling community and safe roadways, insightful speakers discussing current roadway legislation aimed at preventing distracted driving, and a non-official group bike ride to the event for cycling enthusiasts.

Bring the whole family for a gorgeous day of:

  • Creative Bike Decorating: Unleash your inner artist and make your bike a Pokémon masterpiece!
  • Bike Decorating Contests/Giveaways
  • Free Helmets: Ensuring safety as we ease into summer.
  • Face Painting: Add some extra flair to your day with fun face painting designs!
  • Bike Rodeo: Test your skills and learn valuable bike safety tips.
  • Community Connection: Share your love of cycling with families and fellow advocates.
  • Food Trucks and Advocacy Speakers

Ollie’s Ride for Change is more than just a fun event; it’s an opportunity to honor the lives of children lost on the roadway and advocate for legal changes that will make our communities safer. Join us in making a difference and celebrating the joy of cycling.

We’re proud to partner with organizations like Safe Kids, Avid Cyclist, Bike Fort Collins, Your Group Ride, Safe Routes to School, and many more!
