Event Setup & Logistics Volunteers
Setup Crew – Arrive early to set up tables, banners, tents, chairs, signage, and decorations.
Breakdown Crew – Stay after the event to take down everything and ensure the area is left clean.
Vendor/Exhibitor Liaisons – Help vendors find their assigned spots, unload materials, and set up.
Route Marking Team – Place cones, signs, and barriers along the bike parade route for guidance and safety.
Bike Parade Volunteers
Parade Marshals – Ride along with groups to keep participants on the right path and ensure safety.
Start/Finish Line Assistants – Help organize participants at the start and guide them at the finish.
Bike Safety Check Volunteers – Assist with basic bike safety inspections (helmets, brakes, etc.).
Directional Guides – Stand along the route to keep riders on track and direct them where to go.
Safety & First Aid Volunteers
Traffic & Crossing Guards – Stationed at key points to ensure safe passage at intersections and prevent cars from entering parade areas.
First Aid Team – Trained volunteers (or professionals) who can handle minor injuries or call for medical help if needed.
Water & Rest Station Attendants – Provide hydration and help any participant who needs a break.
Registration & Information Volunteers
Check-in & Registration Team – Sign in attendees, hand out materials, and answer questions.
Info Booth Staff – Provide directions, schedules, and event details to attendees.
Merchandise & Fundraising Volunteers – Sell T-shirts, wristbands, or other merchandise to support your cause.
Speaker & Media Support Volunteers
Stage/Audio-Visual Assistants – Help set up microphones, speakers, and ensure speakers are prepared.
Photography & Videography Volunteers – Capture key moments for future promotions and social media.
Press & Media Liaisons – Guide reporters, provide event information, and facilitate interviews.
Kid & Family Engagement Volunteers
Activity Station Attendants – Help run kids’ bike decorating stations, face painting, or other family-friendly activities.
Lost Child Station Volunteers – Assist parents in case a child gets separated from their group.
Advocacy & Education Volunteers
Road Safety & Awareness Educators – Staff booths with information about distracted driving and road safety.
Petition & Pledge Collectors – Encourage attendees to sign petitions or pledge to drive distraction-free.
Community Outreach Team – Engage attendees and encourage them to stay involved with your cause.
Bike Decorating Volunteers
Bike Decorating Assistant: Assist participants with decorating their bikes by providing materials, helping with setup, and ensuring a smooth flow of the decorating process.
Bike Decorating Contest Judge (3): "Evaluate decorated bikes based on creativity, originality, and theme adherence. Help determine the winners and ensure a fair and fun competition."
Event Merch Sales:
Merchandise Sales Associate: Assist with the sales of event merchandise, process transactions, provide excellent customer service, and maintain an organized sales area. Help with inventory management and restocking
Merchandise Display Organizer: Arrange and maintain the merchandise display, ensuring it is visually appealing and accessible to attendees. Assist with inventory counts and help set up and break down the merchandise area
Memorial Tent/Volunteer:
Memorial Tent Attendant: Welcome visitors to the memorial tent, provide information and support, and maintain a respectful and peaceful atmosphere. Assist with displaying memorial items and ensure the tent remains organized."
Memorial Tent Volunteer Coordinator: Help set up and maintain the memorial tent. Assist in gathering and organizing any provided memorial materials, and help direct visitors. Additionally, assist in coordinating volunteer schedules for the memorial tent
